Vintage Sheet Music Wreath

Hope all my fellow USA readers are having a fabulous Labor Day Weekend!  So far the weather here has been lovely—but humid.  whew!

This weekend has been mainly the clean-up-all-the-piles-around-the-house-so-we-can-get-the-fall-decorations-out-and-pretend-the-air-is-nippy weekend.  We’re almost there…….

Thought I’d share a quick peek at another living room redo addition…….a vintage sheet music wreath.  I’ve  had fun making these.  Soon I will have them in my etsy shop—along with some other fun stuff. {My poor etsy shop has sat empty for a very long time.  Hope to change that soon.}

All three of our children are classical violinists—-and I’ve wanted to make a special tribute to their hard work the past several months.  There has been many auditions, concerts, recitals, etc.  There have been two very difficult Mozart pieces that they have worked very hard on—-so I found a vintage Mozart sheet music book at an antique store that included these two pieces in it.  I used them to make this wreath to hang in our new living room. {That is no where near finished—but chugging right along.}

Here’s a peek…….

The Annie Sloan Chalk Paint will be here any day; and maybe I can get to work on those bookshelves.

I have one pile left—it’s always that last pile that is the hardest.  I’ve run out of stashing places!  What fun have you been up to this weekend?

Happy Monday~
