Christmas Journals…..

It’s the last day to enter the Shabby Apple necklace giveaway

if you haven’t….do it quickly!

The winner will be picked tonight at 11pm EST

We have a yearly tradition that we are in the middle of this week….

We keep a Christmas Journal.

The week after Christmas each year we each get a chance to write in it….

what stood out the most for the Christmas, what our special moments were,

what we most looked forward to, what happened–good or bad,

and then we each end our journal entry with a written prayer.

It’s treat to look back through the years and read the entries…..

even when our kids were very little they wrote in it.

Sometimes they drew pictures.

Do you have any ‘after Christmas’ traditions?  Have you ever started a Christmas Journal?

Hope you are having a super week!

  1. What a special way to remember the past. I will do this too. My children are mostly grown now. Perhaps we could also write a memory from the past. Thank you.

  2. What a clever idea. I have a Christmas Journal, but I never thought to include anyone’s thoughts but my own. I really like your idea, I would have loved to see my children’s entries from when they were young.

Love to hear from you guys.......
