For your weekend I wanted to share an amazing picture with you. I just love it. It was sent to me and I don’t know who the photographer is or how to credit it. {If it is you or you know who to credit..please let me know.}
It reminds me of Psalm 91:4…..
“He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”
We don’t need to fear about tomorrow…because God is already there. Storms may be raging, but we are tucked up under His wing.
I don’t know about you…but I need to be reminded of that. Often.
I have times of feeling like I’ve fallen off the branch, and I’m flailing toward the ground.
But I’m not…it’s just the wind blowing around me. I just need to sit tight.
Anyone else need to be reminded of this?
In the feathers~
Everyday I feel this way. However, when I read God’s word it reinforces and reminds me He is always there. This is one of my favorite versus. Thank you for the reminder.
It surely is a good one! 🙂
Yes, I feel this way at times, and yes, I need to be reminded. Thank you for doing it!
I needed to be reminded, too….and this picture did it for me. 🙂
Thank you for this beautiful post……….so comforting and true.
I really needed to be reminded this week…and this picture did it for me. 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Holly!
Hey Daune, I’m not sure how I found your blog, but I’m glad I did. I love visiting here. I’ve never commented before, but wanted to say that this post reminds me of the song by the Ruppes. I think the title of it is Under His Wings. I love that song, and love that our Heavenly Father shelters us in many ways that we may never know.
Also wanted to tell you that our daughter lives in Jacksonville. Her husband is an instructor in the marine corp, stationed at LeJeune. I think by some of your posts, that you live in the general vicinity.
Karen…so glad to have you here! I’m going to have to check out that song. How neat that your daughter lives just a bit down the road…Jacksonville is about an hour from us. So glad you let me know. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
precious photo and yes, we all need to be reminded of the wonderful truth!
It was a great reminder for me, Debra. I hope you have a great weekend!
