Daune from Cottage in the Oaks is a talented blogger, etsy shop owner, and my latest sponsor! Yay!

Want a sneak peek into some of the items she is currently offering in her shop? Well, here you go!

Buying handmade this Christmas is something you can feel good about! I encourage you to browse her shop and see if any gifts catch your eye. (Gifting yourself is perfectly acceptable as well. :) )

To help spread the word on her fantastic shop, Daune is giving away this adorable “Let It Snow” banner! Perfect for your mantel, above an entryway, or across a mirror!

Each Let It Snow banner is hand lettered in silver acrylic and dusted with silver German glass glitter. Each letter measures approximately 5.5″ x 8.5″ and the total length of the entire banner is approximately 88″.

So excited……..

We are so excited!  Wanta know why?  Tomorrow is FALL!!!  Yep, it’s September 1st–and that’s the beginning of fall! {At least around here.}

I know, I know—the calendar says that it isn’t until September 23 or something like that.  Confusion—total confusion.  Our seasons?  I’m so glad that you want to know!

September 1-November 30 = Fall

December 1-February 28/29 = Winter

March 1-May 31 = Spring

June 1-August 31 = Summer

SO—-that’s why we are excited!  Tomorrow is FALL!  🙂

I’m ready.  How about you?

What’s your season break down?  Do you have your own or go by what the confused calendar says?

Happy Day Before Fall~

PS  I’m also excited because the Tasty Kitchen featured my Potatoes Romanoff recipe today! Whoop! Whoop!

What An Honor!!!!!

I’m so excited!  Just received an e-mail informing me that my Smoky Steak Sandwiches will be featured on Where Women Cook!  I’m so honored!  Click on the above graphic to go to their site—it’s wonderful!

I have fallen in love with their quarterly magazine:  Where Women Cook; as well as:  Where Women Create.  If you are not familiar with these—GO OUT AND GRAB ONE {of each}!!!  You will LOVE it!  There is also a new one from the same company {Stampington} called Create With Me—covering wonderful ways to be creative with the young ones in your life.  Go. Run out now.  Grab these lovelies.  You can come back and thank me later. 🙂  Each of them only come out quarterly–giving you plenty of time to read them cover to cover.  They also have wonderful blogs that you would enjoy.

Handsome and I are still out waltzing, minueting, and gavotteing—–I have a fun project for you tomorrow! 🙂

Happy Magazine Reading~

Blushing Over Here!

Just had to write a quick note—today Cottage in the Oaks was featured on Centsational Girl, the #1 House and Garden blog out there!  Woohoo!  Yay! Wow!

I am blushing.

Thanks, Kate, for featuring one of my projects!  I’m honored.

Have a great weekend~
